EASTER PRAYER VIGIL – HOLY SATURDAY, MARCH 26th    A long-standing tradition at St. Paul, Holy Saturday is observed with a 9-hour prayer vigil (6:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.) in the church sanctuary. This vigil is divided into 15-minute time periods in which to meditate and pray—you (and family members) are invited to sign up for one or more of these periods. All members (youth and adults) are encouraged to participate in the Holy Saturday prayer vigil on April 4th, Holy Saturday of Easter weekend, in the church sanctuary. The signup board is located on a table in the west narthex. Come and spend 15 minutes of your time in this special prayer and meditation time with your Lord. Prayer request cards are located next to the signup board for those who wish to submit special prayers for a loved one, neighbor, friend, co-worker, etc. “After Job had prayed for his friends, the LORD made him prosperous again and gave him twice as much as he had before.” Job 42:10

Lenten Dinner – March 16: The Board of Education and Board of Youth will be providing a spaghetti dinner with salad and dessert for March 16 Lenten meal. Everyone is invited to come and enjoy the meal before the Lenten service. The meal begins at 5:45 pm. The Service begins at 7:00 pm.

Easter breakfast plans are being made….It’s time once again to be thinking about our Easter Breakfast. The sign- up sheet is available now, and it takes a lot of people to make our breakfast so successful. We need volunteers to set up on Saturday, cook on Sunday, and to help clean-up after the breakfast. Also you have the opportunity to sign up to bring everything from sweets to salsa. If you are new to the congregation, this is a great opportunity to work with and get to know members of our congregation. Look for the sign-up sheet on the bulletin board or in our fellowship hall. Thank you in advance for your help. If you have any questions, please contact Ellen Sander at druellen@hotmail.com or at 292-3574.

For several years, St. Paul has sponsored Memorial Lutheran’s F.I.S.H. (Friday International Student Hospitality) dinners by volunteering to be on the clean up crew for one dinner. This year, St. Paul is scheduled to help with clean up on April 29 and we need volunteers to help with this service activity. The dinner starts at 6pm and clean up starts at 7pm and generally ends around 8. You are welcome to eat first before pitching in. Anyone interested can contact Nancy Wiebel or Carol Folkmann.

Easter Service Times– The Easter Sunday services will be at 7:30 am and 10:00 am. Breakfast will start at 8:45 am.

PLEASE SIGN UP TO BE IN THE EASTER PROCESSIONAL BY MARCH 20th.MANY MEN, WOMEN, AND CHILDREN ARE NEEDED. We will carry in the lilies, candles, communion ware and furnishings that were removed on the Maundy Thursday service. Your assignments will be given a short while ahead. Meet in the basement at 7 am to pick up your item and line up in the hallway. Call Judy Peter @ 232-1876or tpeterames@gmail.com with questions. There will be reserved pews available for you. Thank you for your service.

The St. Paul Easter egg hunt is Sunday, March 20 at 1:30. If you would like to donate wrapped candy, please place it in the bin. Helpers are needed! If you can help, please talk to Thomas Wilson.

Did anyone lose a Wal-Mart gift card? It is not the standard “blue” card. Call the office to identify and claim.

Mark Your Calendars….the Women of St Paul and Conversational Dinners will be hosting Dinner and a Movie, on Saturday, April 9th. Our chef for the evening will again be Duane Faas and he has promised to cook up a special dinner for us.   Our feature movie will be announced in March. Everyone is invited, Mark your calendars and come and join us.

THANK YOU to everyone that has turned in their Time & Talent forms and Financial Pledge Cards. Your support is certainly appreciated! If you have not and still wish to, you can drop them in the prayer box in the church Narthex up to and including Sunday, March 20th. God’s Blessings to All!

St. Paul Stewardship Team.
