EASTER PRAYER VIGIL – HOLY SATURDAY, MARCH 26th    A long-standing tradition at St. Paul, Holy Saturday is observed with a 9-hour prayer vigil (6:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.) in the church sanctuary. This vigil is divided into 15-minute time periods in which to meditate and pray—you (and family members) are invited to sign up for one or more of these periods. All members (youth and adults) are encouraged to participate in the Holy Saturday prayer vigil on April 4th, Holy Saturday of Easter weekend, in the church sanctuary. The signup board is located on a table in the west narthex. Come and spend 15 minutes of your time in this special prayer and meditation time with your Lord. Prayer request cards are located next to the signup board for those who wish to submit special prayers for a loved one, neighbor, friend, co-worker, etc. “After Job had prayed for his friends, the LORD made him prosperous again and gave him twice as much as he had before.” Job 42:10

Lenten Dinner – March 9: Trustee and Evangelism boards will be serving Hickory Park. Everyone is invited to come and enjoy the meal before the Lenten service. The meal begins at 5:45 pm. The Service begins at 7:00 pm.

Easter breakfast plans are being made….It’s time once again to be thinking about our Easter Breakfast. The sign- up sheet is available now, and it takes a lot of people to make our breakfast so successful. We need volunteers to set up on Saturday, cook on Sunday, and to help clean-up after the breakfast. Also you have the opportunity to sign up to bring everything from sweets to salsa. If you are new to the congregation, this is a great opportunity to work with and get to know members of our congregation. Look for the sign-up sheet on the bulletin board or in our fellowship hall. Thank you in advance for your help. If you have any questions, please contact Ellen Sander at druellen@hotmail.com or at 292-3574.

The Family Service Quilters are excited about new quilting options as part of becoming involved with a “Thrivent Action Team.” We have lots of beautiful new fabric to make lap robes for Israel Hospice House and quilts for the Orphan Grain Train. We’re inviting you to be a part of our team and help respond to these needs. We’ll be going through the process from start to finish the 2nd and 4th Thursdays of each month. You don’t need to bring anything –other than a sack lunch for our noon break. We start at 10 a.m. and finish by 2 p.m., but you are welcome to come and go as your schedule permits. Hope you can join our ACTION TEAM.
