EASTER PRAYER VIGIL – HOLY SATURDAY, MARCH 26th    A long-standing tradition at St. Paul, Holy Saturday is observed with a 9-hour prayer vigil (6:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.) in the church sanctuary. This vigil is divided into 15-minute time periods in which to meditate and pray—you (and family members) are invited to sign up for one or more of these periods. Only one slot remains. Sign up today! “After Job had prayed for his friends, the LORD made him prosperous again and gave him twice as much as he had before.” Job 42:10

Easter Breakfast Reminder….Make your plans now to enjoy an Easter Breakfast immediately following the Easter Sunrise Service here at St. Paul. The menu includes: Scrambled eggs, sausage, ham, Easter pastries, fruit cup, juice and coffee.   For those who will be attending the 10:00 service, you can still make plans to attend as we will be serving until 9:45 am.   Just a reminder to all of our fantastic St. Paul volunteers who have signed up to work Saturday or Easter morning, or to provide food items. We will begin Saturday morning at 9:00 am. Sunday morning workers, we will start at 6:15 am. If you are donating food items, please bring them to the kitchen Saturday or Sunday morning. Thank you ALL so much for making the Easter Breakfast extra special for everyone.

Dinner and a Movie….April 9th, 5:30pm….This year Conversational Dinners and Women of St Paul are “teaming up” to present Dinner and a Movie. Our feature film is “Woodhaven”, the true story of Anthony (Tony) Davis and the Woodhaven High School Football team. Set in Birmingham, Alabama, in the early 1970’s when schools were being desegregated, tempers were flaring and emotions ran high. One man, using God’s message of love and unity in the face of adversity, brings this team together to grow their faith in God and in each other.   You will cheer, be angry, maybe shed a tear and see how the Bible speaks to us all, even on a football field.   The “Team Chef”, Duane Faas, is already busy planning a wonderful tailgate feast that you won’t want to miss.   A sign up sheet is posted on the bulletin board…this would be a great family movie….so sign up now, enjoy some great food and an All American movie.

THANK YOU to everyone that has turned in their Time & Talent forms and Financial Pledge Cards. Your support is certainly appreciated! If you have not and still wish to, you can drop them in the prayer box in the church Narthex today, March 20th. God’s Blessings to All! ~St. Paul Stewardship Team.
