Announcements

Our 21st annual HOPE (Helping Other People Everywhere) Gift Market will be held next Sunday, November 10th from 9:30 – 11:00 am in the fellowship hall. Come enjoy a cup of coffee and a treat while looking at the displays, and picking a child’s name off the Angel Tree to gift this Christmas. Discover the perfect way to change the lives of our brothers and sisters who are in need by sharing your blessings through the HOPE Gift Market. Gift Certificate orders are available at the cashier’s table. If you can’t be here for the Gift Market, order forms are available at the back of church. Please complete the form, attach your check made out to St. Paul Lutheran Church, and place them in the Human Care mailbox. Orders will be accepted through the month of November.     THANK YOU!

Thanksgiving Baskets of Plenty– Nov 24th We will be having the Thanksgiving Food In– Gathering for Bethesda Food Pantry. Cash or checks and non-perishable food items will be placed at the altar. Cash/check donations allow the food pantry to purchase what is needed at a greatly reduced cost.

TODAY IS LWML Mite Box   SUNDAY. The large Mite Box is in the narthex. You can help spread the Gospel around the world by contributing to the LWML mission goal. Thank you.

Snowbirds– If you are going south for the winter please call, email, or stop in at the office with your winter address and the dates that you will be away so we can send you the Epistle. Thank you.

Family Service Quilters will meet on Thursday, Nov. 7th from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. Bring a sack lunch and join us. 

The Book to Know group will meet Nov. 14th, 7:00 pm, at Thelma Voetberg’s  home to discuss “Fire by Night” by Lynn Austin. Everyone is invited to read this book and join us for the discussion.

It’s getting colder and we need warm clothing for our homeless. Gloves, knit hats and scarves for all ages are needed. These items will go to homeless shelters and Northwood school.

Please take coats to Overflow on Duff. Thank you for helping those in need.

The Annual Beta Sig Brunch is TODAY- 9 am to 1 pm at 2132 Sunset Dr. This year their philanthropy event will support Habitat for Humanity. Tickets are $5 in advance and $6 at the door. Come support the Lutheran Fraternity, Beta Sigma Psi and enjoy this wonderful brunch.
