HOPE Gift Market- TODAY in the Fellowship Hall, 9:30 – 11:00 am Explore the sponsored organizations’ displays that show the perfect way to share your blessings with those in need close to home and around the world.   The angel tree has many children’s names ready to be “picked!” Gift certificates are available upon request at the cashier’s table. Come enjoy some coffee and a treat while you browse!

Thanksgiving Baskets of Plenty– Nov 24th   We will be having the Thanksgiving Food In– Gathering for Bethesda Food Pantry. Cash or checks and non-perishable food items will be placed at the altar. Cash/check donations allow the food pantry to purchase what is needed at a greatly reduced cost.

New Member Welcome Potluck Brunch– All new members who joined St. Paul this year are encouraged to attend church Nov. 24 for an official membership welcome during church service and fellowship time. All members are invited to join everyone for a Welcome Potluck Brunch at 9:45 a.m. Bring a brunch item to share and enjoy. The Evangelism board will provide plates, beverages, etc. This will be a great opportunity for old and new members to get acquainted.

December Epistle items are due Friday, November 15th.

ATTENTION PARENTS: Starting Wednesday, January 8th Midweek will start at 5:00 pm and end at 6:00 pm. This change will last the remainder of the school year. Look for more information on the time change coming home with students on Wednesday.

Snowbirds– If you are going south for the winter please call, email, or stop in at the office with your winter address and the dates that you will be away so we can send you the Epistle. Thank you.

Join us for our next LYF activity for grades K-8 “Overflowing with Thankfulness” this Wednesday from 5:30-7:30p in the Fellowship Hall. Fill out a permission form and put in the Youth box, or contact Carla Murphy.

The Book to Know group will meet Nov. 14th, 7:00 pm, at Thelma Voetberg’s home to discuss “Fire by Night” by Lynn Austin. Everyone is invited to read this book and join us for the discussion.

It’s getting colder and we need warm clothing for our homeless. Gloves, knit hats and scarves for all ages are needed. These items will go to homeless shelters and Northwood school. Please take coats to Bethesda Clothes Closet or to the schools, They have coat boxes. Place hats, gloves, etc in one of the clothing tubs by the east entrance. 

Tomorrow is Veteran’s Day! The LCMS Ministry to the Armed Forces special brochure is located on the credenza if you would like to take one.
