Announcements
Ever want to be part of the space program? Here’s your chance to be part of “Mission Control” at our VBS “Miraculous Mission!” We need volunteers to make our program a success. VBS is June 17-20 in the evenings. Please see the sign-up sheet on the bulletin board or contact Carla Murphy for more information. VBS student registrations are also being accepted now.
Annual Plant Sale – If you have not picked up your flower order yet, please do so today. Thank you for your support of our plant sale.
Stewardship Opportunity– If you have ever had the thought of serving the Lord by being part of a board; stewardship has an opportunity you do not want to pass on. They are in need of a vice-chair for the 2019-2020 church year. The good news is the current chair, Larry Wiebel, is going to continue as chair for the upcoming year. Thus, you will be able to draw on Larry’s knowledge and leadership. For more information contact Larry or the co-chairs of the nominating committee Tom Henriksen or Paul Knop.
The Board of Women’s Ministry would like to thank everyone who has donated to Mites. We are please to announce that the 2017 – 2019 Mite goal of $2,075,000.00 has been reached. Those coins you add may not seem like much, but when hundreds of churches collect Mites as we do, and they are all added together, this is the result. Over 2 million dollars raised for missions! Praise God!
June Epistle items are due Wednesday, May 15th.
Reminder– Bring your Bethesda Food Pantry Donations Next Sunday. Monetary donations allow the Food Pantry to buy what is needed at a reduced cost.
