Year End Celebration for LYF Youth and Families. Please join us for a year end celebration on Wednesday, May 8th from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm in the church fellowship hall. We will have food, games, fellowship and guest speakers from Camp Okoboji. If you have questions about any of the summer camps at Camp Okoboji, now is the time to come and ask. Please return the form on the magazine rack, so we know how much food to prepare. (Return the form to Angi Esser or Stephanie Taylor.)   Thank you.

Save the dates for Adventureland! St. Paul will once again offer discounted admission tickets to Adventureland to our members and preschool families. The tickets will be good for your choice of one of 4 of the following dates: April 27, 28, May 4 or 5th. Tickets will be $25 per person ($20 discount per ticket). The sign up sheet is on the bulletin board.

May 1 is the last Midweek class for this year!

The Book to Know group will meet May 9th, 7:00 pm, at Julie Coy’s home to discuss “Evidence Not Seen” by Darlene Deibler Rose, who is originally from Boone, IA. Everyone is invited to read this book and join us for the discussion. We will also choose the books for the next year. Please come and give us your input.

Next Sunday we will be collecting Mites for the LWML Mission Grants. You can help spread the Gospel around the world by contributing to the mission goal. The large mite box will be in the narthex. Thank you.

Annual Plant Sale – The Board of Women’s Ministry annual plant sale has begun. Stop by the table in the west entryway to pick up an order form. Funds will be used for scholarships to the national LWML convention in June and for supporting the new mission grants that will be chosen at the convention. Take a form for friends or businesses that may need spring plants. Orders are due by April 29. Flowers arrive May 11.

Thankful for the Many Hands of St. Paul – a very special thank you to everyone who “had a hand” in making this our most successful Easter Breakfast in recent years.  Without “your hands helping hands” it would not be possible to serve a St. Paul tradition – Easter Breakfast. A very “handy” couple are Phil and Alberta Voge for donating the Easter ham and sausage. And to those “handy” chefs who came in and cooked up the eggs and sausage, we applaud your efforts and say a “Hand-y” Well Done! Special thanks to Ellen Sander for organizing this wonderful Easter Breakfast!
