Voters’ Meeting next Sunday, Nov 12 following the late service. We hope everyone will be able to attend.
The Book to Know group will meet November 9 at Adele’s home to discuss “The Hiding Place” by Corrie ten Boom. Everyone is invited to read this book and join us for the discussion.
2018 Offering Envelopes are ready for pick-up in the narthex. Please pick them up promptly.
The Quilting group will meet on Thursday Nov. 9th from 10:00 until 2:00 p.m. for a Thrivent Action Team Event. Thrivent T-Shirts and bring a sack lunch. join us.

Operation Christmas Child Operation Christmas Child continues. Make sure you pick up your box from the narthex to help share the love of Christmas to those around the world! If you have questions, see Thomas Wilson. Return boxes by Nov 12.
Good Neighbor Emergency Assistance Choir Concert- The annual concert of combined choirs will be TODAY, November 5, at St. Cecilia Catholic Church at 2 pm. See the flyer on the bulletin board.
On Communion Sundays we now offer gluten-free wafers as an option. If you would like the gluten-free wafer, please point to the special container in the center of the tray of wafers, or say “gluten-free” to the elder distributing the wafers.
Time to fill the tubs, Let’s fill the tubs with new underwear and socks for all ages. These will go to either Bethesda Clothes Closet or HOPE Ministries in Des Moines.
Children’s Christmas Service Practice Dates
Saturday, December 2nd, 9-11 am (2nd Grade- High School)
Saturday, December 9th, 9-10 (2nd– High School) 10-11 am (Preschool – High School) This practice will take place in the fellowship hall.
Thanksgiving Baskets of Plenty- During worship services on November 19th. Please participate in the in-gathering of non-perishable Thanksgiving meal food items — they will be given to those who are unable to provide this traditional meal for their families. Thank you.
