Announcements:
HOPE Gift Market- Join us in the Fellowship Hall TODAY, from 9:30-11 am for this annual event. Gift certificates available upon request. If you are unable to attend on November 12, you can still do your shopping– see the table in the narthex and place your order form with your check (made out to the church) in the office mailbox.
Voters’ Meeting TODAY following the late service. We hope everyone will be able to attend.
Fall Clean-up will be Saturday, Nov 18 at 8:00 am. We have things that need to be done both inside and outside. Many hands make light work. Please come and help. Thanks.
Show your spirit! Cy or Herky in a “sticky” situation and stop by our National Youth Gathering booth at the Hope Gift Market TODAY. Your participation in this fundraiser will help “SECURE” a trip for our youth to the National Youth Gathering in Minneapolis in 2019! Duct tape is only $1 per foot and there’s no limits on the number of pieces of tape per person! Thank you for supporting our youth!
Thanksgiving Baskets of Plenty- During worship services on November 19th. Please participate in the in-gathering of non-perishable Thanksgiving meal food items which will be given to those who are unable to provide this traditional meal for their families. Thank you.

Candy Bar Sales!! The youth attending the National Youth Gathering in 2019 are selling candy bars for $1 each. will be selling in the narthex on November 12 and 19. Please consider helping our youth reach their goal and enriching their faith at the National Youth Gathering.
On Communion Sundays we now offer gluten-free wafers as an option. If you would like the gluten-free wafer, please point to the special container in the center of the tray of wafers, or say “gluten-free” to the elder distributing the wafers.
Time to fill the tubs Let’s fill the tubs with new underwear and socks for all ages. These will go to either Bethesda Clothes Closet or HOPE Ministries in Des Moines.
We need volunteers to help serve snacks at our Grandparent’s Day Celebration for our preschool on Monday, November 20th, from 9-10, and also on Tuesday, November 21st, from 9-11:30, and 2:15-3:15. We will be serving catered snacks to our 75 preschoolers, and their grandparents. We would like volunteers to help serve, and to circulate and welcome our guests. We would be a perfect opportunity for Prayer Partners to come and meet your student and their grandparents. If you can help, please contact Kent Z.
This isn’t a “trivial pursuit”. It’s a worthy cause! Do you know stuff about things? Come show off your worthless trivia knowledge! The National Youth Gathering participants are hosting a trivia night January 13th to raise funds for the 2019 National Youth Gathering. Come compete for the prestigious title of: Champion of People who “Noah” few things. Cost is $100 per table (team) of eight (only $12.50 per person), and we have room for 12 tables/teams. Bring your own food, drink, and some friends for a great time. Whether you know a little bit about a lot of things or a lot about a little, come have some fun with us! We are looking to pre-register the tables by early December so we can prepare the event through the busy holiday season. Pick a team captain and contact Thomas to reserve your table with pre-payment. Saturday, December 9th, 9-10 (2nd– High School) 10-11 am (Preschool – High School) This practice will take place in the fellowship hall.
Sunday, December 10th, 9:45 – 10:45 (3rd Grade– High School)

(Children are asked to bring a wrapped box with their offering enclosed)
