The Blood Drive will be held at the church’s parking lot in Life Serve’s Blood-Mobile on Tuesday, January 26th, from 3:00 PM to 6:30 PM. – For those people who are interested in signing up, or who have questions, contact Brian Weber at (515) 450-2358.

Psalms & Spirituals with the National Lutheran Choir Join the National Lutheran Choir led by artistic director and organist, David Cherwien, for a unique blend of choral music, spoken reflections and congregational hymnody. Experience the artistry of the National Lutheran Choir as they perform songs of faith, and join together in singing well-known – and perhaps new – hymns with the choir! Saturday, February 20, 2016 – 7PM at First United Methodist Church, 516 Kellogg Avenue, Ames, IA 50010.

Conversational Dinners- Christmas caroling was the December event. After contacting several St Paul members, we were able to Carol to 11 couples or individuals. you Maureen and Reiny for being our gracious hosts. the Naughty band outdid themselves with “sinfully delicious” desserts and appetizers. On January 10th we will gather in small once again for our “soup supper”. host couple will act as the “captain” calling the game plan. can bring a soup or you can have just a couple of people bring a soup, each group can decide for themselves. THANK YOU – the Family Service Quilting Group wishes to thank the family of Norma Buss for the gift of a new sewing machine given in her memory. Norma loved to sew and quilt, and the quilters will think of her fondly while using this fantastic gift. Thanks so much – what away to keep her memory alive.

The Human Care Board is collecting warm hats and gloves, as well as socks, for needy men, women, and children. You may place your donations in the labeled bin in the east coat area. Thank you!
