Our Sunday School children are collecting various items and cash needed to make health kits for the homeless all during the summer. Please place donations in the basket marked “Health Kits” in the narthex. As a family project for VBS, on Sunday, Aug. 3rd, participants will be assembling the kits. We hope to be able to make 75 kits that night. The health kits will go to local shelters in Ames, Des Moines and beyond. Items needed include: toothbrushes, tooth paste, washcloths, nylon body scrubbers, body wash, shampoo, razors, combs, band aids, and 16” x 25” dish towels.
