GETTING BORED WITH THE SAME FOODS? The Wellness Team is sponsoring a “Simple Fix” workshop on Thursday, March 5 at 7 PM. This is a freezer meal workshop at the West Ames HyVee. You will bring home food for 4-6 people for each of these yummy 7 meals: Baked Ziti, Chicken Lasagna, Asian Beef Stir Fry, Crockpot Chicken Tortilla Soup, Baked Salmon, Italian Stir Fry with Turkey Sausage, and Orange-herbed Pork Roast. Cost is the cost of groceries, plus a $10/person setup fee, which is about $110 total for 7 freezer meals that serve 4-6 people each. There are a limited number of spaces for this fun event, so sign up soon on the bulletin board in the narthex!

Bell Workshop- TODAY, February 16th between services during the Bible study hour. If you are at all interested in joining the bell choir here at Saint Paul come learn the basics of music reading and bell ringing technique between services. The first half hour will be discussing the essentials to music reading including note names, finding (and keeping) a steady beat, and learning to read rhythms. The second half will be used to learn how to use proper technique to ring. If you’re interested in attending, email Cameron at praise@saintpaulames.org 

TODAY, February 16th is Bethesda Food Pantry Sunday. Monetary donations allow the Food Pantry to buy what is needed at a reduced cost. 

A new recording secretary is needed.  This person is responsible for recording the minutes of the Voters Assembly and Board of Directors. Qualifications include good organizational skills and the ability to take accurate meeting minutes. If you could help or would like more information, please contact Will Zitterich or Bob Walker. Lent Begins Feb 26 and we need some groups to provide Lenten meals on March 11, March 25 and Apr. 1. A free will offering will be taken at each meal to help cover the cost. Contact Karen Griffin (232-8709) with questions.

Ash Wednesday will soon be here and so will the Soup and Pie Supper. February 26!! Sign up on the bulletin board to bring your favorite soup or pie! Other items are also needed, including workers for set up and clean up. We appreciate everyone who helps make this wonderful supper a success!

It’s Cook Off TIme! Join us on Saturday, February 29th at 5:30 pm for the NYG Chili Cook-off Fundraiser! We are looking for Chili competitors and judges. Sign up on the bulletin board in the Narthex! 

The Book to Know group will meet March 12th, 7:00 pm, at Gretchen Zitterich’s home to discuss “Daughter of Jerusalem: A Novel” by Joan Wolf. Everyone is invited to read this book and join us for the discussion.

FREE MONEY! (FOR CAMP OKOBOJI)! If any youth who have completed grade 3-12 would like to attend a week of camp at Camp Okoboji this summer, the Board of Youth has funding available to help pay registration fees. They also have information on other financial opportunities if interested. Camp registrations are open now. Deadlines will be soon. Please contact Carla Murphy for details.
