Announcements

Family Service Quilters Due to bad weather, we will meet on Thursday, Jan 30th from 10:00 am until 12:00 pm. Bring a sack lunch and join us. Our Family Service meeting will be at 1:00 pm.

 YOUTH SUNDAY PRACTICE for grades 3-12 is Saturday, February 1 & 8, 9-10:30 a.m.

 Bell Workshop- February 2nd, February 9th, and February 16th between services during the Bible study hour. If you are at all interested in joining the bell choir here at Saint Paul come learn the basics of music reading and bell ringing technique between services. The first half hour will be discussing the essentials to music reading including note names, finding (and keeping) a steady beat, and learning to read rhythms. The second half will be used to learn how to use proper technique to ring. If you’re interested in attending, email Cameron at praise@saintpaulames.org.

 A new recording secretary is needed.  This person is responsible for recording the minutes of the Voters Assembly and Board of Directors.  Qualifications include good organizational skills and the ability to take accurate meeting minutes.  If you could help or would like more information, please contact Will Zitterich or Bob Walker. Super Sub and Bake Sale!  Youth participants of the 2022 NYG will be taking orders for Sub Sandwiches today, January 26th to be picked up on Sunday, February 2nd. Subs are $10. We will also be having our annual Bake Sale on Sunday, February 2nd – all baked goods will be $5. Meat and Cheese trays will be available for $5 for a small and $10 for a large tray. Thanks for your support of the 2022 NYG! 

Have you thought about serving on the Altar Guild or are you interested in learning more about the Altar Guild? We are looking for more members. If you are interested or have questions, please feel free to talk to any of the Altar Guild members or chairman, Judy Peter.

A new Women’s Bible study began January 13. We meet every Monday at 5:45 pm in the basement board room. All women are invited to join us for “Trustworthy”, a study of 1 & 2 Kings by Lysa Terkeurst. Books are $10. We still have some books available if you were not able to come last Monday. Stop in the office to pick one up.

The Book to Know group will meet March 12th, 7:00 pm, at Gretchen Zitterich’s home to discuss “Daughter of Jerusalem: A Novel” by Joan Wolf. Everyone is invited to read this book and join us for the discussion.

Looking for a way to serve? We need people to serve Sunday morning coffee at 9:45 am for Feb. The sheet is posted on the bulletin board.

Next Sunday, February 2nd is LWML MITE BOX SUNDAY. The large Mite Box will be in the narthex. You can help spread he Gospel around the world by contributing to the LWML mission goal. Thank you
