If you have a special occasion to celebrate or just want to offer, we need members to sign up on the altar flower chart that is located on the bulletin board in the narthex

 Looking for a way to serve? We need people to serve Sunday morning coffee at 9:45 am for Jan. and Feb. The sheets are posted on the bulletin board.

 A new recording secretary is needed.  This person is responsible for recording the minutes of the Voters Assembly and Board of Directors.  Qualifications include good organizational skills and the ability to take accurate meeting minutes.  If you could help or would like more information, please contact Will Zitterich or Bob Walker.  The new Wellness Team at St. Paul wants to encourage and support each of you in making healthy lifestyle choices! The Wellness Team is sponsoring a “Taste of Wellness” SUNDAY, January 12th. Join us in the fellowship hall at the beginning of Bible Class where samples of tasty, healthy foods will be available, with their recipes and handouts on healthy eating. “So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God.” I Corinthians 10:31

Please see the special insert in Sunday’s Bulletin about the work of Lutheran Family Service (LFS). If you would like to make a special donation to support LFS, donation envelopes are located on the credenza (large table under the clock in the west entryway).

Let’s go Bowling!!! On Wednesday, January 15, LYF will meet in the Fellowship Hall at 6 pm for pizza and go to Perfect Games afterward. Parents will need to pick up youth at Perfect Games at 8:15 pm. Permission forms are due by Sunday, January 12. This event is open to grades K -8. 

A new Women’s Bible study will begin January 13 at 5:45 pm in the basement board room. All women are invited to join us for “Trustworthy”, a study of 1 & 2 Kings by Lysa Terkeurst. Books will be $10 and will be handed out on Jan 13th.

February Epistle items are due Wednesday, January 15th.

 The Book to Know group will meet Jan. 16th, 7:00 pm, at Adele Knop’s home to discuss “Angels Walking” by Karen Kingsbury. Everyone is invited to read this book and join us for the discussion.

Next Sunday, January 19th is Bethesda Food Pantry Sunday. Monetary donations allow the Food Pantry to buy what is needed at a reduced cost.

Everyone is invited to come to the fellowship hall before education hour for coffee. Two Sundays a month (the Sundays there is no communion) there are coffee and treats and a free-will offering is taken for a special need.
