Save the Date! – Sept. 9.  The Facilities Assessment Team is almost ready to share some exciting information with the members of St. Paul. SCHOOL SUPPLY AND BACKPACK DRIVE July 16th – August 15th  Items will be collected for middle school and high school-aged students.  Their greatest need is for bigger, heavy-duty backpacks.  They also need college-bound notebooks, pocket folders, loose-leaf paper (college or wide-lined), glue sticks, color pencils or markers, and even pencils and pens! Please consider buying a quality backpack and filling it with these most needed supplies.  Place all your donations into our school bus display located in the narthex.  Thank you for your generosity!!!

New Photo Directory – It is time for a new photo directory – we have new members, folks are older and kids are bigger. Photos will be taken October 3 – October 6.Please watch for upcoming information and opportunities to schedule your photo op.

The new Member Phone Directories and Annual Reports are in your member mailboxes.

Save the Date for our 1st LYF event for grades 1-8 on September 12th.It will be called “Grillin’ Up Some Fun” at Angi Esser’s home. More details to come at a later date!

God’s Love in Action is strong at St. Paul! With love and outreach we had 88 kids register for VBS with less than half being our members! We had members help set up, assist with registrations, provide/serve family meals, lead crafts, bible stories, music, be group leaders, group helpers, help with power point, opening/closing, take photos and more! The kids set a goal of $500 for mission offering for clean water in Tanzania and in 4 days contributed $776!  We learned God does keep his promises on life’s wild ride and the excitement in those 4 days was truly wild! Thank You St. Paul!

10% of your bill at Texas Road House is donated back to the church on any Sunday when you bring the current Sunday bulletin and show it to the restaurant. This is an ongoing fundraiser for all youth projects.

Wings of Refuge, a Christ-centered restoration home for women who have survived sex-trafficking, is moving to Ames. There will be a special evening of worship, information and encouragement on Friday, Aug. 17, from 7-9 p.m. at Harvest Vineyard Church in Ames.
