Easter Breakfast Opportunity….. Only a few spots remain to help with the Easter breakfast. See the sign-up sheet on the bulletin board.  If you have a question, please contact Ellen Sander at druellen@hotmail.com.

Please join your friends at St. Paul for the last Lenten supper on March 21 at 5:45 pm, We are serving Hickory Park sandwiches, baked beans, chips and dessert. There will be a free-will offering to help the youth of our church attend camp at Camp Okoboji this year.

Family Service Quilters will meet Thursday, March 22, from 10:00 am to noon. Then we will break for lunch and have our Family Service meeting with a devotion and dessert. Bring a sack lunch and come join us.

The sign-up sheet for the Easter Procession is on the bulletin board.  Please sign up by Wednesday, March 21st.  Many men, women and children are needed.  More instructions will be sent out at a later date. 

The Board of Evangelism is once again looking to send workers to Camp Okoboji on a mission trip. If you are interested in joining us on this mission trip there will be a sign-up sheet on the bulletin board in the narthex. So why not come and join your fellow Saint Paul family and get the camp ready for the season and enjoy some fellowship with other St. Paul members.

Come have EASTER BREAKFAST with us!!!  Everyone is invited to come for Breakfast immediately following our Sunrise service on Easter Sunday.  Breakfast is planned by the Women of St Paul, and many members of St. Paul work hard to prepare and serve it. No reservations required, come and enjoy a delicious breakfast and the Easter fellowship with family and friends. This year’s free will offering will benefit our youth and their plans to attend their summer gathering in Minneapolis in 2019.

EASTER PRAYER VIGIL – HOLY SATURDAY, MARCH 31st  A long-standing tradition at St. Paul, Holy Saturday is observed with a 9-hour prayer vigil (6:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.) in the church sanctuary .This vigil is divided into 15-minute time periods in which to meditate and pray—you (and family members) are invited to sign up for one or more of these periods. The Prayer Vigil sign-up board is located in the west entryway.

Youth Lock-in April 6th-7th- Youth in grades 5th -8th are encouraged to register for the upcoming Youth Lock-in: Sticky Faith – Let’s Get Sticky! April 6th to April 7th. Youth will have a fun-filled time with small and large group games, devotions, Bible study, movies, and maybe even a little sleep! Youth from Memorial Lutheran and Ascension Lutheran churches have also been invited to attend. We also encourage youth to invite a friend to join them! Registration ends Tuesday, April 3rd! Registration forms are on the magazine stand in the narthex. You can also e-mail Thomas Wilson (familylife@saintpaulames.org) for a digital copy. If you have questions, please speak with either Carla Murphy or Thomas Wilson. Please register before April 3rd!

Discounted Adventureland Tickets- Sign up now on the bulletin board to get your discounted Adventureland Tickets. Tickets are $25 each ($20 savings). Kids 3 and under are free. Tickets may be used one day during Substance Free weekends (April 28, 29, May 5 or 6).

Youth– It is time to think about attending Camp Okoboji this summer. Six full scholarships to attend Cub week are given by the Camp Auxiliary, but the application must be mailed by April 4.  See the display in the narthex for dates and more info.

Answered Prayers!  Please welcome Cameron Mitchell as our Praise Team Director and Bell Choir Director!  Cameron is currently a freshman at Iowa State University majoring in music education. Cameron will be working with Joan and Katie over the next few months to make the transition as smooth as possible. Thanks again to Joan and Katie for sharing their musical gifts and leadership. Please take a moment to introduce yourself to Cameron and help him to feel welcome.

Ladies: On Saturday, April 7, at 12 noon, the Women’s Ministry will be holding a luncheon in the fellowship hall with guest inspirational speaker, Nancy Cohen. She will share her interesting story of mission work in Russia, France and Israel. Come join us as she encourages us and equips us to “Join Jesus On His Mission”. RSVP to the church office. Cost is $5 to the office or at the door.

Youth needed for Youth Sunday We invite all youth in grades 3-12 to participate in Youth Sunday April 22 (both services). Practices are April 14 & 21 from 9-11am. We need youth to create bulletin covers, greet, usher, play in the ensemble, read and be in a skit.
