EASTER Sunbeams- We are looking for individuals willing to hang up the white Sun Beams in the chancel area at 4:15 pm Saturday, April 15th.It involves standing on the tall ladders and hanging the sunbeams as a couple helpers assist with getting them balanced. Please sign-up on the display table in the west entryway if you would be willing to help. Talk to Judy Peter if you have any questions. Thank you.

HOLY SATURDAY – PRAYER VIGIL- All members (youth and adults) are encouraged to participate in the annual Easter Prayer Vigil on Saturday, April 15th, in the church sanctuary. The sign-up board for this 10-hour vigil is located in the west entryway and has 15-minute time slots available. The vigil begins promptly at 6:00 a.m. and ends at 4:00 p.m. Special personal prayer requests and meditation materials will be available to aid you during your vigil period. Before then, you are encouraged to submit personal prayer requests—these can be made using the cards found next to the signup board. These requests will be sorted among the time slots and prayers will be said on your behalf. This time of private meditation allows an opportunity to reflect on the sacrifice Christ made on your behalf, and to contemplate His astounding love for you. If you have any questions, please contact Judy Peter, Altar Chair.

EASTER PROCESSION- Our celebration of Christ’s resurrection will soon be here.  Would you like to praise the Lord as part of the Easter Procession on April 16 at the 7:30 am service? The furnishings of the chancel are removed during the Maundy Thursday service in preparation for Good Friday. Forty (40) men, women and children are needed to carry in the lilies, communion ware, paraments, and candles in this Easter service. If you want to be a part of the Easter Procession, please sign-up on the display table in the west entryway. If you have any questions, please contact Judy Peter, Altar Chair.

March 29th Lenten Supper…The Board of Evangelism will host the March 29th Lenten Supper.   Plan to join us and enjoy Hickory Park sandwiches, beans, chips and dessert. A free-will offering will go to support the youth Okoboji scholarships.

The Messianic Passover Haggadah……The Women of St. Paul and Conversational Dinners cordially invite all members and families of St. Paul to celebrate this ancient meal, a Seder Dinner,  on Saturday, April 1 at 5:00.  Chef Duane Faas is putting together a traditional Passover meal, featuring a roasted meat, vegetables and dessert.  Haggadah means “the telling”.  Passover is a story of miraculous transitions, from slavery to freedom, from despair to hope, from darkness to light.  As God cared for the children of Israel in ancient times, He cares for us now as we prepare our hearts for Easter.  Reservations are required, contact Ellen Sander or Gretchen Zitterich.  A $10/person or $20/family donation is appreciated. TODAY IS THE LAST DAY TO SIGN UP.

Today is LWML Mite Sunday.  Please help support the mission grants of the LWML by placing your donation in the large Mite box.

Check out the fun camps this summer at Camp Okoboji– There are some new ones. The Board of Youth has funds set aside to help finance any St. Paul youth attending any of these camps. Other additional sources include the IDW, the Camp Auxiliary and Okoboji Bucks through our Evangelism Board. Contact the board of youth for more information.

Make plans now to attend the Easter breakfast at St. Paul. Our menu is scrambled eggs, ham, sausage, fruit and assorted breakfast sweets.  Many helpers are also needed to get ready.  Watch for the sign-up sheet on the bulletin board to sign up to help.
