Announcements:

Wednesday morning Bible study resumes May 10– We are exploring the book of Jeremiah. This major prophet laments the destruction of the temple, the siege on Jerusalem, and the people’s being led away as captives into exile.  Yet he also predicts the coming age of the new covenant under the Righteous Branch, who will be the Good Shepherd. Please read chapters 41-45 for this week’s session. We meet from 10:30-11:30 am in the fellowship hall.

Flowers, for those who ordered them, will be delivered to the church next weekend. They can be picked up at the church on Saturday, May 13, between 9 am—1 pm.

Team Members Needed– The Board of Evangelism is currently looking for people who would be interested in joining our board. Adults and youth are welcome to serve. We meet once a month on the first Monday of the month. More importantly, we are looking for someone willing to step up to be the vice-chair for the 2017-18 year. If you are interested, please contact Charles Ellis. Please give this position some prayerful thought. Thanks, The Evangelism Board
