Bake Sale Today! Lots of delicious baked goods are for sale today by the youth to support the next Youth Gathering trip.  Also, pick up your pre-ordered sub after the service.

The 2014 flower chart is now posted on the bulletin board. Please sign up to provide flowers for our upcoming worship services. Include the reason or dedication on the chart.  Thank you.

TIME – TALENTS – TREATS!!!  Don’t miss the Time & Talent Fair on TODAY in the Fellowship Hall during the educational hour between services. The St. Paul boards and committees will be there to share the many opportunities we all have to get involved in supporting our church, each other, and most importantly our Lord and Savior. Treats and beverages will be provided so please plan to join us. The St. Paul Stewardship Board.

The Praise Team is in great need of a percussionist or rhythm person.  If you can help out, please talk to Joan Ingwersen.

The Bible Study on the Gospel of Matthew will resume our study on Wed, Feb 5th. Read chapters 10-13.

Printed Bulletins  We are now offering those who come to worship the choice of either a worship service bulletin with the service order plus an announcement page/inserts, OR an announcement page/inserts only.  First service attendees, if you use the full worship service bulletin, please return it to the basket in the back row for use at the second service. All Aboard…”the Last Train From Paris” is due to depart Paris (the St. Paul Fellowship Hall)  at 6:00 on Saturday, March 1st.  A gourmet dinner prepared by Chef D-wain deFaas, interesting characters, and an intriguing murder mystery play featuring our own St. Paul Players, all add up to be an evening to be remembered.  You won’t  want to be left standing at the station.  So save the date…reservations available February 8th. Food Pantry Sunday- as an added item for the food pantry for February we would like to add children’s underwear. Many stores have good sales on them now and we can take them to Bethesda along with the food items for them to put in their clothes closet. Please bring RED items for the food pantry for February.

LERT (Lutheran Early Response Team) Training at St Paul! Iowa District West has immediate need for LERT-certified volunteers to respond after natural disasters by giving spiritual comfort and emotional support while providing food, water, clean up, debris removal and helping with basic repairs. This is an opportunity to exercise your Christian faith and use your God-given gifts and talents to help others in need. It’s easy to become a trained Lutheran Early Response Team volunteer! Take this opportunity to join members throughout IDW in this unique Christ-centered mission. Attend the disaster orientation training event to become FEMA certified through LCMS World Relief and Human Care. Saturday, Feb. 8, 2014, 9am-Noon (registration begins at 8 am).  Light breakfast and lunch will be served. Register online at www.idwlcms.org or contact Jill Davis at the IDW office at 515-576-7666.
