We believe what the Bible teaches. Its central message is that one is saved by grace, through faith in Jesus Christ.
Our denomination, The Lutheran Church Missouri Synod, has an extensive section on its website devoted to our beliefs and practices. The website includes FAQ, a number of pamphlets, and a number of official confessions (statements of faith). The two shortest and oldest of these confessions are spoken by the congregation during worship services. The Apostles Creed is used during services of The Word while the Nicene Creed is used during services which include the Lord’s Supper.
