TODAY is LWML Mite Sunday.  Please help support the mission grants of the LWML by placing your donation in the large Mite box.

JOINING JESUS ON HIS MISSION — LAYETTE DRIVE  –  The Board of Human Care is collecting the following items for babies whose moms came to Informed Choice for counseling: Diapers – newborn size; Wipes; Onesies or sleepers in a neutral color (no pink or blue please!); Receiving blankets or gauze blankets.  There is a display in the narthex where you can place your donated items. Bless you for helping these new moms!

Family Service Quilters Family Service quilting group will meet on Thursday April 26th from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. We will have our Family Service meeting at 1:00 p.m. Bring a sack lunch and join us.

NEWSLETTERS AVAILABLE–   The Grulkes, with Lutheran Bible Translators, who spoke to us a few months ago, are finally on their way to Botswana.  Their newsletter is on the MISSIONS bulletin board.  James & Angela Sharp, missionaries to Uruguay, who we support through the HOPE Gift Market, sent a mission update. Their newsletter is on the MISSIONS bulletin board.

Discounted Adventureland Tickets- Sign up now on the bulletin board to get your discounted Adventureland Tickets. Tickets are $25 each ($20 savings). Kids 3 and under are free. Tickets may be used one day during Substance Free weekends (April 28, 29, May 5 or 6).

Youth– It is time to think about attending Camp Okoboji this summer. Several youth are interested in attending and we would love to have more. See the display in the narthex for dates and more info. Do not let the cost deter you. Funds are available to help with the cost. Talk to Carla Murphy for more info.

Just a reminder, our LWML IA West District Convention at Okoboji is coming up. Get your reservations in soon ($25 by May 14; $30 after May 14). Registration forms are on the bulletin board. See you all there June 28th thru 30th!

TODAY is Youth Sunday Thank you to all the youth and adults who worked hard to make this special service a success.

The Women of St. Paul have begun their annual plant sale. Plants are from Holub’s Greenhouse. Pick up an order form in the narthex.  Orders are due by May 4. Pick-up will be Saturday, May 12. If you are interested, please contact Gretchen Zitterich.
