Announcements:
Reminder– Sunday, Dec 24 there will be one worship service at 10:00 am and the Christmas Eve Candlelight services at 5:00 pm and 7:00 pm. Christmas Day worship with Holy Communion will be Monday, Dec 25 at 10:00 am.  Sunday, Dec 31, there will be one worship service with Holy Communion at 10:00 am.

The Book to Know group will meet February 8 at Karen Griffin’s home to discuss “Her Daughter’s Dream” by Francine Rivers.  Everyone is invited to read this book and join us for the discussion.

There will be no Midweek on December 20 & 27. Midweek will resume January 3.

Dec 31 will be LWML Mite Sunday.  Please help support the mission grants of the LWML by placing your donation in the large Mite box.

The Bible comes alive once you have actually visited the places where Jesus walked! Rev. Michael Wolfram will be hosting a pilgrimage to the land of Israel beginning Feb. 4, 2019.If you would like information on this spiritual pilgrimage, contact him at mcwolfram@aol.com. He also plans to host a tour of the Alps including the Oberammergau Passion Play in September of 2020.Contact him if you might be interested in either of these opportunities. Early bird registration discounts are available.

This isn’t a “trivial pursuit”. It’s a worthy cause! Do you know stuff about things? Come show off your worthless trivia knowledge! The National Youth Gathering participants are hosting a trivia night January 13th to raise funds for the 2019 National Youth Gathering. Come compete for the prestigious title of: Champion of People who “Noah” few things. Cost is $100 per table (team) of eight (only $12.50 per person), and we have room for 12 tables/teams. Bring your own food, drink, and some friends for a great time. Whether you know a little bit about a lot of things or a lot about a little, come have some fun with us!  We are looking to pre-register the tables by early December so we can prepare the event through the busy holiday season. The Board of Human Care wishes to say THANK YOU to all those who participated in our HOPE Gift Market. This year the total donated was $14,304!!! God!

Do you enjoy friendly smiles? Do you like to help children learn new things? St. Paul Lutheran Preschool along with wonderful teachers, kind children, and thoughtful parents are looking for a teacher’s assistant for our 4-and-5-year old class. The position starts on January 4th and continues until May 25th. Hours for this position are M, T, Th, and F from 8:15 am to 12:45 p.m. No working weekends or nights plus get Spring Break off with pay. We will help you with the training you need to be qualified. Dear Carolers, We so enjoyed joining you in celebration of the birth of the Christ child. Merry Christmas to all and God’s blessings always.  Thankfully, Northridge Village friends. 

Join us for supper! The Board of Trustees will be hosting the Advent meal on December 20. They will be serving pulled pork sandwiches and baked beans. Supper starts at 5:45 pm in the fellowship hall.

The Board of Evangelism is seeking your help. We are currently looking for members to join our board. If the Board of Evangelism doesn’t appeal to you, then we invite you to check out any of the other Kingdom Worker boards here at St. Paul. All of our boards would be grateful for any new members.
