TODAY is LWML Mite Sunday. Please help support the mission grants of the LWML by placing your donation in the large Mite box.

Have you thought about serving on the Altar Guild or are you interested in learning more about the Altar Guild? We are looking for more members. If you are interested or have questions, please feel free to talk to any of the Altar Guild members or chairman, Judy Peter.

Parish Choir has begun!  Mary Nelson is back to direct our vocal choir this fall. Practices are at 7:30 pm on Tuesdays each week. Former choir members and NEW choir members are all encouraged to come and sing.

Family Service quilting group will meet on Thursday, September 28th, 10:00 a.m. for quilting. will break at noon for lunch (bring a sack lunch) 1:00 P.M. we will have our Family Service meeting with a devotion and desert. We would like to have you join us if you can.

October 29th-Trunk-or-Treat from 2:00-3:30 pm. Join in the fun by decorating a trunk for this fun family activity. Stay tuned for more information as we get closer to the date. The Board of Ed. is always looking for new ideas for better serving our youth. you have any thoughts and suggestions, please don’t hesitate to bring them to anyone on the board.

Faith Strength and Conditioning/ Fellowship Today, September 24th, the 7th -12th grade students will meet during Education hour 9:45 – 10:45 am to kick off “Faith Strength and Conditioning”! Following the education hour, the 7-12th youth are invited to stay for a pizza and movie time. This fellowship time will be done around 1:00 PM. Parents we encourage you to allow your youth to stay and have fun during this once a month fellowship time!

The St. Paul Bell Choir has started their season of ringing.  Rehearsals are at 6:30 pm on Tuesdays each week. All are welcome to come (literally) ring praises to our Lord. If you have any questions please feel free to send me an email or give Katie (Bell Choir Director) a call.

Looking for a way to serve?  We need people to serve Sunday morning coffee at 9:45 am in October. The sheet is posted on the bulletin board. 

New Bible Study on Romans continues this Wednesday, from 10:30-11:30 am! Join us as we explore the book that had the greatest impact on Luther launching the Reformation. For the September 27th class, please read Chapters 7-8.

The Reformation” Order this book at a reduced price of $22.49. Sign-up on the poster in the narthex, place your check in the office mailbox. Last day to order is October 15.  Many people recognize the name Martin Luther when they think of the Reformation, but this era was filled with other fascinating personalities and dramatic changes across every aspect of human life throughout the Western world. “The Reformation” is an illustrated and engagingly written overview of this amazing time of change and renewal in the Christian Church and helps the reader sort through the complex chain of events that shook both church and state to their very foundations. There is a sample book in the office for you to preview if you like.
