SOME HISTORY TRIVIA ABOUT THE LWML: At the first LWML convention in 1943, delegates approved using $15,000 in mite offerings to help fund construction of a building for Christ Church for the Deaf in Cleveland, Ohio. In 1987, the national mite goal was $1,000,000. In 2015, the national mite goal reached $2,000,000. We are serving the Lord with gladness.
