Announcements:

Today is Youth Sunday– Thank you to all the Youth and adults who helped make this Youth Sunday a success.

 SHARE THE FUN of Adventureland

Let’s all join in on “Sharing the Fun” of Adventureland during their substance-free weekends. St. Paul members and preschool families who sign up in advance will receive a discount on tickets of only $22 each (a $20 savings). Ticket holders will have their choice of attending one of the following dates: April 29, April 30, May 6 or May 7. Look for the sign up sheet on the bulletin board.

Flowers for Spring! Just a reminder – please pick up a flower order blank from the table in the Narthex. If you have questions – check with Tanny. The funds from these purchases will help with mission expenses and attendance for the women attending the National convention in New Mexico.

He Has Risen Indeed, Hallelujah! –  What a joyous Easter event we celebrated last Sunday.  An empowering message from Pastor Jenks on the resurrection of our Savior,

Jesus Christ.  The bell choir, vocal choir and the brass group shared their wonderful talents. We had 335 in attendance and 170 shared a fantastic Easter breakfast.

To our music leaders, LaDonna, Ellen, Katie, Joan, Mary and Wayne, all of you are a true blessing to St. Paul.  We are still seeking a director for the vocal choir. It would be wonderful if a member of that group would provide leadership during the final 40 days of the choir season. The members of St. Paul would so much enjoy hearing the vocal choir one or two more times before the end of May.  If you are interested in sharing your talent contact Paul Knop right away.

Team Members Needed– The Board of Evangelism is currently looking for people who would be interested in joining our board. Adults and youth are welcome to serve. We meet once a month on the first Monday of the month. More importantly, we are looking for someone willing to step up to be the vice-chair for the 2017-18 year. If you are interested, please contact Charles Ellis. Please give this position some prayerful thought. Thanks, The Evangelism Board

LWML Mite goal of $2 million has been met! Thank you to everyone who contributed to our Mites over the last 2 years. From April 2015-March 2017 St. Paul has contributed $3293.96. Praise God! Today is our Mite Sunday. All mites collected will go towards the new mite goal which will be chosen in June at the LWML convention in Albuquerque.

Easter Breakfast Volunteers…Thank you for a job well done…once again the many willing hands that together planned, prepared for, cooked, and served our Annual Easter Breakfast did a fantastic job.  Our Easter Breakfast is always a St. Paul highlight and this year was no exception.  From the Easter sweets to the ham and sausage, everything was delicious and served in an efficient manner.

Your generous participation in the free will offering is greatly appreciated by the Women of St. Paul as they begin final preparations for their trip to convention in New Mexico.  Thank you all for making it a special morning.
