March 22nd Lenten Supper…The Board of Elders will host the March 22nd Lenten Supper.   Plan to join us and enjoy a lasagna dinner. Come and enjoy the meal, and spend time with your friends at St. Paul.

The Messianic Passover Haggadah……The Women of St. Paul and Conversational Dinners cordially invite all members and families of St. Paul to celebrate this ancient meal, a Seder Dinner,  on Saturday, April 1 at 5:00.  Our Chef  is putting together a traditional Passover meal, featuring a roasted meat, vegetables and dessert.  Haggadah means “the telling”.  Passover is a story of miraculous transitions, from slavery to freedom, from despair to hope, from darkness to light.  As God cared for the children of Israel in ancient times, He cares for us now as we prepare our hearts for Easter.  Reservations are required, contact the church office.  A $10/person or $20/family donation is appreciated.

Reminder– Midweek classes  resume this Wednesday, March 22.

Clothing, Shoes Needed- We will be taking all gently used clothing to HOPE in Des Moines. If you are spring cleaning and need room in your closets, bring them in and we will take the donations to Hope Ministries about March 20th. We will take any type of shoes–new, old, or worn and belts and purses, too. Place your items in the HOPE Ministries bin located in the east entryway.

HOLY SATURDAY – PRAYER VIGIL All members (youth and adults) are encouraged to participate in the annual Easter Prayer Vigil on Saturday, April 15th, in the church sanctuary. The signup board for this 10-hour vigil is located in the west narthex and has 15-minute time slots available. The vigil begins promptly at 6:00 a.m. and ends at 4:00 p.m. Special personal prayer requests and meditation materials will be available to aid you during your vigil period. Before then, you are encouraged to submit personal prayer requests—these can be made using the cards found next to the signup board. These requests will be sorted among the time slots and prayers will be said on your behalf. This time of private meditation allows an opportunity to reflect on the sacrifice Christ made on your behalf, and to contemplate His astounding love for you. If you have any questions, please contact the church office.

Thank You to the conversational dinners folks for the money, food and/or help with the Lent Supper on March 15th.
