The 10 Year Vision Plan draft is now completed and the action task leaders are ready for members of St. Paul to provide input and comment before the plan is finalized. Lunch will be catered and child care will be provided.  Please come and share your input!

Adventureland Fun Days!  Join other St. Paul families on April 30, May 1, 7 or 8 for fun at Adventureland.   Tickets are $22 each.  Sign up on the bulletin board.  All youth must be accompanied by an adult.

Power point and Soundboard operators needed!  We would like to get a few more people trained to operate the power point and soundboard. It is not that difficult, but training is required. We will make sure you are completely comfortable with the operation before assigning you.  Please contact the office if you have questions or are interested.

For the Wednesday Bible study on Isaiah, please read Isaiah chapters 41-45 for our next session on April 20.

The Nominating Committee has a few positions that need to be filled for the coming year.  They are: Elder; Church Recording Secretary;  Chair– Board of Evangelism;  Vice Chair– Board of Education;  Vice Chair– Board of Preschool;  Vice Chair– Board of Stewardship.  We encourage all St. Paul members to be involved in our TEAM to help things run smoothly at St. Paul. Please pray if God is calling you to serve in one of these positions.  If you have any questions about a position and what it involves contact Chris Hand at 515-229-3072.

Offering COUNTERS NEEDED! In reviewing the feedback from the Time & Talent forms we have received, we still see a need few more volunteers to cover the “counters”for next year. If you are interested and willing to serve in this area, please contact Keith Folkmann at (515) 441-6489 / keith.folkmann@gmail.comthe church office at (515) 232-5838 / office@saintpaulames.org. Thank-you for considering this stewardship opportunity.

BOOK SALE! Trinity Lutheran Church in Boone is having a HUGE book & bake sale on Saturday, April 23, 8 am –  2 pm. They have over 700 religious books and Bibles, History books, book series, and much more. All proceeds will go to their Organ Refurbishment Fund. See the flyer on the bulletin board for more details.

We thank you….everyone who attended the Dinner and a Movie on April 9th, thank you for your support. Our selected movie “Woodlawn” was a touchdown hit, except for a couple mushy scenes, as a couple of younger members of our tailgate crowd pointed out. we loaded our plates with sliders, wings, salsa, and pie, thanks to the culinary skill of Duane Faas, settled in to watch the feature event. again for your support, as we were able to give our youth a nice donation for their trip to New Orleans this summer.

Adopt a Garden- The St Paul Lutheran Church garden is located at Brookside Park right next to the swinging bridge on the west side. During the past few years, Tom and Judy have signed up to take the lead on getting a sign-up sheet for volunteers to help clean up the garden in the spring and volunteers to assist with planting and mulching the garden. Tom and Judy are wondering if there would be an individual or couple or family that would like to take the lead on heading up the St Paul Lutheran Church “Adopt a Garden”. We would be willing to assist and help with what we have done in the past years. We have until April 4th to let the City know if we be participating this summer. Please contact Tom or Judy at 450-4039 or talk to them at church if you would be willing to take over this very rewarding program.

THANK-YOU! to the St. Paul Congregation members for your generous support of our recent Time & Talent and Loyalty Sunday activities. We have received a very positive response on the Time & Talent forms as well as the Financial Pledge Cards. May God’s Blessings continue to flow on you and your families for your stewardship commitments in service to God and St. Paul Church Family. St. Paul Stewardship Team
