Announcements:

REMINDER– ONLY ONE SERVICE NEXT SUNDAY (24th) AT 10:00 AM.

Reminder:The last day of Sunday School is today, May 17th.Adult Bible study will keep meeting except for in July.

St Paul Preschool is in need of a treasurer.  The work can be done online from your home.  We use Quicken books. Please prayerfully consider helping out this great program.  Please contact DeAnn Barnes or Lori Jenks for more information.

Your input on the future of our congregation is needed! Come participate in the discussion of the10-year strategic plan for St. Paul at today’s  voters meeting at noon.Childcare will be provided with a snack and activities for children. We meet in the fellowship hall after late service. The meeting will also discuss next year’s budget, election of officers, and other items.

Pastor’s Wednesday morning Bible study on Acts will conclude on May 20th at 10:30 am. This will be our “treat celebration” day. We will cover chapters 27-28. Everyone is invited to bring a treat or snack to share.

Walther League Reunion Celebrating 75 years of Camp Okoboji with a reunion on June 6 & 7, 2015. See the flyer on the bulletin board for information about these 2 days.

The LWML is still collecting ink cartridges and cell phones for recycling. But please note: We are unable to use the cell phones if they do not include the charger.  If you have dropped off cell phones at the office, please bring in the chargers or we cannot use them.  Thank you.

Thank You for Being Good Stewards Following Time and Talent and Loyalty Sundays in March, the St. Paul congregation responded positively with 129 Time and Talent forms and 69 financial pledge cards from individuals and families. This is a 64% response rate on Time and Talent forms and an 8% increase in the number of pledge cards. The total dollar amount in financial pledges increased by 11% compared to last year. The Stewardship Board would like to thank everyone for your continued support to God’s work and church family here at St. Paul. Thank you!

All St. Paul women are invited to the Family Service Potluck at noon on Thursday, May 28. Calling all LWML NATIONAL CONVENTION ATTENDEES… we would like to get a PHOTO of all St. Paul Members who will be attending the Convention in Des Moines next month.We will be taking the photo between services on May 17th. All those with convention shirts please wear those or your St. Paul shirts. This photo will be sent to Zone. Thank you for your help in making a memory for our Society.

Class of 2015- Katie Dryer will graduate from South Hamilton High School in Jewell on Sunday, May 24th.  Join us in sharing congratulations with her as we celebrate today.

CAMP OKOBOJI SUMMER STAFF OPPORTUNITIES:  Camp Okoboji still has wonderful opportunities for upper age high school and college students to serve their Lord as Vacation Bible School staff, lifeguards, as cabin cleaning and dining room staff.  Everyone gets to work together in all areas of servanthood.  First year summer staff members are paid $225 per week and are provided room and board.  Applications are available at www.campokoboji.org.  Background checks are conducted on all applicants prior to being offered employment.  Staff may start as early as May 18 and have the opportunity to work through August 17.  All applications are to be mailed to:  Executive Director, Camp Okoboji, 1531 Edgewood Drive, Milford, IA 51351
