Special Men’s Event-  Nov 15 we are blessed to have Col. Jimmy Coy (Ret.) here to speak on MEN WITHOUT FEAR. Col. Coy has authored seven Christian books and travels to speak to men who would like to fulfill God’s divine plan for them. The event will be from 8:30 – noon with a continental breakfast beginning at 8:00 am.  Please sign up on the bulletin board so we know how many to plan for.

The Women’s Bible study group will begin a new study Monday, Nov 10th.  We will be doing a short 5 session study by Donna Pyle titled “One Extraordinary Night” based on Luke 2. Everyone is invited to join us at 5:45 pm for prayer and 6:00 pm for the study.  There is no cost for the materials.

We are in need of a few more people who will call our first time visitors and thank them for visiting St. Paul and answer any questions they may have.  This is a very easy, but important job. If you are interested, please contact the church office. Thanks.

Believe Catalog sales will continue through Sunday, November 16th. Orders may be placed online, or with youth before and after Sunday services in the Narthex. Orders will be delivered before Christmas. Proceeds will benefit the 2016 National Youth Gathering (NYG).

Congregational Care Cards are now available and have been placed in the pews. If you or someone you know from the congregation needs meals provided due to illness or surgery, or if someone needs a visit or transportation provided, please fill out the card in the pew rack, place it in the offering plate, and either an elder or Human Care Board member will take action to help out. Thank you!

All Veterans of St. Paul – Today we would like to thank all the veterans of St. Paul for their service to our country.

You may have wondered why the U.S. flag is always positioned where it is in the sanctuary, or how we know where to place the national flag. The answer lies in the United States Code, TITLE 36, CHAPTER 10, §175, Position and manner of display. “…When displayed from a staff in a church or public auditorium, the flag of the United States of America should hold the position of superior prominence, in advance of the audience, and in the position of honor at the clergyman’s or speaker’s right as he faces the audience. Any other flag so displayed should be placed on the left of the clergyman or speaker or to the right of the audience.” This is why, as you sit in the pews, you will see our national flag up front and on your left.
