Family Service raffle tickets (one for $1 or six for $5) for the flannel quilt are available until December 14. Proceeds will be used to replenish Family Service quilting supplies and to provide support to a Texas LWML outreach to a Muslim Women’s Group (sewing quilts and sowing).

Our December LYF event will be attending the Cyclone Women’s basketball Faith & Family Day on Sunday, December 7 at 1 pm. We will meet at the church and go as a group. The Youth Board will pay for your ticket to get in but you will need to provide money for any concessions you may want.

Please sign up on the bulletin board by November 30 or contact the church office so we can be included in the group rate/seating.

Our Worship service on December 7 will feature many special songs by the Bells of St. Paul with some help from the Parish choir. Please join us for this special worship service, “The Bells of Christmas.”

Fall Mission Project: The Sunday School will be directing offerings from September through December to the purchase of mittens and hats for needy children. The children can also bring NEW hats and mittens in as offerings as well.

Do you have any extra coupons for any brands of laundry soap, toilet paper, or dishwasher soap? Please put the coupons in Lori Jenks’ mailbox. We could use them to purchase needed supplies for our November Preschool Chapel Project. Thank you!

The Women’s Bible study group is doing a short 5 session study by Donna Pyle titled “One Extraordinary Night” based on Luke 2. Everyone is invited to join us at 5:45 pm for prayer and 6:00 pm for the study.  There is no cost for the materials.

Thank you to all who participated in the HOPE Gift Market. Your generous response in Helping Other People Everywhere is heartwarming! Once all forms have been tabulated, we will announce the total amount given. For those unable to the Gift Market on the 9th but wish to participate, you will find forms at the back of church. Please fill out the form, attach your check, leave in the Human Care mailbox in the coat room. Contributions will be accepted through the last Sunday in November.  ~Human Care Board‌

Offering Envelopes for 2015 are in– pick yours up on the table across from the sanctuary.

We will be decorating the church for Advent Season on Sunday, November 30^th, at 6:30 pm. Come whenever you can….early or late.

Thanks to everyone who chose an angel from the Angel Tree. Please bring the wrapped gifts back to the fellowship hall by December 14th. Also, please remember to attach the angel to your wrapped gift so we are sure each child gets the correct gift.

Soup & Sweets Supper will take place just ONE week after Thanksgiving on Wed. Dec. 3rd, the first week of Advent. PLEASE sign on the sign-up sheet posted on the Narthex bulletin board what you are willing to bring & possibly help with serving & clean-up. Iowa State Women’s Basketball will have Faith & Family day on Sunday, Dec 7 at the 1 pm game. Tickets are $6 for adults and $3 for Youth. Sign up on the bulletin board if you would like to go. (The tickets must be ordered as a group.) Questions… contact Ron Coy at 233-5097.
