Announcements:

Thanksgiving Worship will be held at 7 p.m., Wednesday, November 26. Come give thanks to God for all His blessings!

Thanksgiving is just 11 days away and the week following we will be celebrating our first Advent supper (Dec. 3rd). As in the past this will be the Soup and Sweets supper so please check out the posted sign-up sheet to give us an idea how many soups and sweets will be coming as well as help with serving and clean-up. Women of St. Paul will be in charge, Tanny Latuska will chair. Since many of you may be gone for a long weekend, please consider signing up very soon- like now. Thanks.

Believe Catalog sales conclude today, Sunday, November 16th. Orders may be placed online, or with youth before and after Sunday services in the Narthex. Orders will be delivered before Christmas. Proceeds will benefit the 2016 National Youth Gathering (NYG).

Wednesday morning Bible study will meet this week. For Nov 12, please read Deuteronomy chapters 32-34.

New Mission Project: The Sunday school will be directing offerings from September through December to the purchase of mittens and hats for needy children. The children can also bring NEW hats and mittens in as offerings as well.

School supplies still needed– The need for notebooks, pencils, & backpacks is very great this year. We will continue to collect these items to help local kids.

Offering Envelopes for 2015 are in–pick yours up on the table across from the sanctuary.

Photos are in– check the box on the table in the hall for your free 8 x 10.

The Women’s Bible study group is doing a short 5 session study by Donna Pyle titled “One Extraordinary Night” based on Luke 2. Everyone is invited to join us at 5:45 pm for prayer and 6:00 pm for the study.  There is no cost for the materials. For this week only, we will meet at the home of Gretchen Zitterich.

Thank you! We want to express our sincere appreciation for all the prayers and good wishes sent our way. Words cannot express how truly blessed we are to know that there are so many people pulling for Tom’s recovery. We don’t know yet what the future holds, but one thing is certain, our Lord is always with us. God’s Blessings,  Tom and Cindy Baas  Update: Tom’s blood tests are good and the leukemia is in remission. Praise God!

Thank you to all who participated in the HOPE Gift Market. Your generous response in Helping Other People Everywhere is heartwarming! Once all forms have been tabulated, we will announce the total amount given.

For those unable to the Gift Market on the 9th but wish to participate, you will find forms at the back of church. Please fill out the form, attach your, leave in the Human Care box in the coat room. Contributions will be accepted through the last Sunday in November.  ~Human Care Board‌

Family Service: Because of Thanksgiving, our second quilting date in November will be the 20th.We will quilt from 10 until noon, then break for lunch (bring a sack lunch). At 1 p.m., we will have our monthly devotion/meeting/dessert. Hope to see you there.

We will be decorating the church for Advent Season on Sunday, November 30th, at 6:30 pm. Come whenever you can….early or late.

Thanks to everyone who chose an angel from the Angel Tree. Please bring the wrapped gifts back to the fellowship hall by December 14th. Also, please remember to attach the angel to your wrapped gift so we are sure each child gets the correct gift.

Conversational Dinner’s want to thank Dean and Ardy, Al and Tanny, and Marilyn and Wayne for hosting our November dinners.  From the feedback I have received, it sounds like everyone enjoyed the evening and it was a nice compliment to our Sunday service where we saluted our veterans.  A very special thank you to Gretchen Zitterich, Bob Folkmann, and Clare Tweedt for taking the time to share their Freedom Flight experience with us.  I would also like to thank our son, Aaron, who helped us out by putting the video together.

Save the Date– December Conversational Dinner- On Saturday, December 13th, Carol and Keith Folkmann will host our “Naughty and Nice” Christmas Party.
