Announcements:

JOIN US TODAY at 9:45 am for the last week of Summer SUNDAY SCHOOL for all ages! Pre-School – 6th Grade: meet in the Preschool Gathering Area; 7th Grade – Adult: meet in the Fellowship Hall.  Theme: Celebrating God’s Creation!

Do you ever see people and wonder what their names are? Have you ever heard an announcement regarding a member and wished you could put a face with a name? Are you a new member and wish you had something to help you put names with faces? Help is on the way! We are producing a pictorial family album! There is no cost to have your portraits taken, and you will receive a complimentary 8×10 portrait and directory for participating. Photos will be taken September 16th- 20th here at the church. You can sign up on line at  https://www.securedata-trans14.com/ap/stpaullutheranchurch41/index.php?page=10 or at church on Sundays. To make our directory a success we need volunteers. See the sign-up sheet on the bulletin board.

We have a wonderful outreach here at St. Paul with our preschool. One of the best ways we can support our preschool’s families is through prayer. We would like to have a church family praying regularly for each preschool family. That’s it!!!  Just pray!  Please sign up on the bulletin board and a preschool family will be given to you to include in your prayers.

High School Sunday Morning Small Group –  On Sunday mornings in Fall 2014, high school youth will be discussing “God’s Not Dead”. Contact Thomas or Lisa Wilson for more details and to let them know if you will be attending! We hope to have you ALL there! High school students will meet 9:45-10:45 am Sunday mornings.

Reminder– Women’s Bible study will only meet in August on the 18th and 25th at 7:00 pm. We are not doing a series, just stand-alone studies, so all are welcome whatever day you can make it. No special materials or homework – just bring your Bible.  We will resume our normal schedule in September.

Midweek Kick-off will be Wednesday, Aug 27th.  Please RSVP to the office by Aug. 25.  Thank you.

The Quarterly Giving Reports are in your member mailboxes located near the Wilson Ave. doors.

Congregational Care Cards are now available and have been placed in the pews. If you or someone you know from the congregation needs meals provided due to illness or surgery, or if someone needs a visit or transportation provided, please fill out the card in the pew rack, place it in the offering plate, and either an elder or Human Care Board member will take action to help out. Thank you!
