Items needed include: toothbrushes, tooth paste, washcloths, nylon body scrubbers, body wash, shampoo, razors, combs, band aids, and 16” x 25” dish towels.

Our Quilting group is in need of used sheets, cloth tablecloths, mattress pads, and fabrics for use in making quilts for the needy. Please place in the tub marked “Quilter Supplies” in the narthex. Thanks!!

Shoes! Just an update…  42 pairs of shoes were collected at the “Dress for Less” Style show. With other shoes that had been brought, over 100 pairs of shoes were recently taken to HOPE ministries in Des Moines. Thank you!!!  And keep them coming!

Are you an adult who has never been confirmed? Would you like to learn more about the core beliefs of the Christian church, drawn from Scriptures? Would you like to dig deeper into the foundations of our faith and the teachings which come from Christ? We are working to make plans for a new adult confirmation class. The class would involve workbook lessons you complete at home and group discussions with Pastor and other participants in the class. You may attend the class simply to review the material and to refresh your faith, or you may attend with a goal of being confirmed. If you are an adult who has an interest in this, please speak to Pastor Jenks very soon.

JOIN US TODAY AT 9:45 am for SUNDAY SCHOOL FOR ALL AGES!! Pre-School – 6th Grade / Preschool Gathering Area; 7th Grade – Adult / Fellowship HallJune 15  ~ Creation Q & A:  If God created the world in six days, why are there fossils (such as those from dinosaurs) that have been dated as millions of years old?  No one knows for sure how old uncovered fossils are.  The dating methods used by scientists are based on theory and continually undergo change.  There is no way to prove fossils are as old as scientists have “guessed” them to be.
