Announcements:

“SING HOSANNA” was written and composed by Michael Jothem. This Palm Sunday anthem is from the words of Mark11:9. It is reminiscent of the crowds singing their hosannas and waving their palm branches.

The Quarterly contribution statements are ready to be picked up from your member mailbox.

The Praise Team is in great need of a percussionist or rhythm person.  If you can help out, please talk to Joan Ingwersen.

Items Needed for the Haiti Mission Trip  We are accepting donations of school supplies, health items and back packs for the upcoming Mission trip to Haiti. Donation bins are located in the east entryway.

No Midweek classes on Wed, Apr 16.

EASTER PROCESSION Our celebration of Christ’s resurrection will soon be here. Would you like to praise the Lord as part of the Easter Procession on April 20 at the 7:30 am service? The furnishings of the chancel are removed during the Maundy Thursday service. 36 men, women and children are needed to bring in the lilies, communion ware, paraments, and candles in this glorious Easter service. If you want to a part of this please contact Gretchen Zitterich@ 232-1765 or gzitterich@mchsi.com or sign up on the bulletin board in the narthex. Your assignments will be posted by Maundy Thursday.

For those of you who like to shop garage sales, Family Service is asking you to watch for good deals on baskets. We give fruit baskets to St. Paul shut ins at Christmas, and our supply of baskets has been depleted. So if you run across any baskets that would work as a gift fruit basket (with or without handles, size: not too big, not too small), we would appreciate them. They can be left in the quilter’s room which is on the NE corner off the fellowship hall – through the double doors and on your left.

MISSING: Clues are needed to help us locate the white plastic “bowl shaped” liner that fits into our brass altar vase. Check your memory, basement, your trunk…if you have donated flowers in the last year it may be resting at your house. Please to church or call with clues. (Gretchen Zitterich 232-1765)

REMINDER: Youth Service, April 27th BOTH SERVICES, except that children ages preschool – 2nd grade only need to attend the 11:00 service. PRACTICE FOR GRADES 3 – 12 will be Wednesday, April 23rd at 5:15 pm.

St Paul has the opportunity to plant & maintain the flower garden by the bridge at Brookside Park. We took care of this garden last year in memory of friend Dave Cavanaugh. need to notify the city soon so if you are willing to spent some time playing in the dirt , please contact Tom & Judy Peter at tpeterames@gmail.com or the church office.

Thank you Preschoolers, Parents, Candy Buyers, and Donation Givers….Saint Paul Lutheran Preschool has the final profit total in and the amount is unbelievable!!!Our goal was to raise $500 for playground equipment. After all candy orders were turned in, plus donations received, our grand total of profit is $3,524!!! God is good! We praise God for leading so many people with generous hearts to sell and buy See’s Candy, and/or give a financial donation to our playground fundraiser! We know that everyone will enjoy their candy or seeing the sweet smiles on children’s faces as they play at the playground.

Today is the last day to order an Easter Lily.
